Psychosis and the Awakening

There can be many misconceptions are to what Psychosis is, but it may be wise to define it as one general way: Psychosis is when the mind takes over. When we stay in the mind thinking, we do not allow for the heart to surrender to truth. In this awakening many more of us could experience Psychotic symptoms if we don’t learn the strategies needed to get through this awakening.

Psychosis that erupts

During this awakening you may find you start waking up to sights, feelings and sounds…this can be an overwhelming experiencing especially if we haven’t grasped the concept of grounding. If you are someone who analyses concepts and sticks to the mind in this way, you may find some psychotic traits could creep in. Some of these experiences may be anger, loss of control and panic due to the changes occurring within you.

The way through

Some of the ways you can prevent psychotic episodes could be:

  • practice grounding daily

  • stay with the feelings rather than the stories in the mind

  • learn how to connect to your body

  • practice exercises that help with grounding your body, such as swimming in the sea

  • stay connected to your heart by learning how your heart feels

  • practice heart meditations if possible. You can listen to my heart meditation here for free.
