What is Eco-Anxiety?
In this new age world that we are living in, there is a crippling fear that is rising due to the changes on this earth (climate change). Eco-anxiety has been defined as a psychological phenomenon that can cause chronic worry and anxiety regarding environmental issues and climate changes. This can extend into feelings of helplessness, hopelessness, fear, stress and even depression based on our perception of how we see the future of our planet. As we become more conscious (during this ascension or awakening we are experiencing) and aware of the earth’s progress or how we may see this as regress, more and more people are becoming concerned about the long-term impacts of climate change.
Is there actually an issue with eco-anxiety?
As a therapist and channelling guide, I know that what is happening on Earth is all a process to become more aligned to our true form and re-aligned to planet Earth. It is understandable that as people awaken their consciousness, they may experience some sort of anxiety and fear regarding the future of this earth. However, I know that the coming future is exactly what we all desire: a better and more sustainable future. In the channelling I have received, it has been expressed to me that earth itself is doing exactly what it is meant to for this designed path. Earth is evolving in consciousness, awakening humans as it makes this journey. This is why we feel the earth’s pain: waking up to our senses and feeling what is there. Mother Earth, by the way, is doing fine, more than acceptable. It is rising, and what you see as a collapse is part of Mother Earth’s rebirth. When we transform and grow in consciousness (why we are here on earth), a part of us must die first (that is an energetic death). Mother Earth is vital; it knows exactly how to handle itself and has been doing this through masculine and feminine energy for all its lifetimes.
What methods can be used for coping with Eco-Axiety
It’s important to embrace change and have trust and faith in the process. If we begin to view what is happening worldwide as a rebirth, we can start to acknowledge the changes and adapt to our surroundings. To cope with eco-anxiety, we can practice mindfulness and meditation, as it will help us to stay grounded. Also, engaging in environmental activism can help people feel more in control and connect with nature to adopt a sense of peace and purpose. In life, it’s important to honour changes without resisting them. Trust that Mother Earth is following her own path. If we awaken ourselves, stay true to our hearts, and trust that we’re always safe, protected and loved, we can support ourselves and the planet the way it needs to be supported. Mother Earth is fine and perfect in her actions. All she needs is us to wake up, support ourselves internally and collaborate with her for a sustainable future.
